BioHi! I'm Pete, 22, presently studying for a MEng in Computer Science/Software Engineering (not our longest degree title!) at the University of Birmingham, but dangerously involved in Guild Hackery.
I'm the departmental councillor, on the commitee of several societies, and have campaigned in five elections for the Exec (winning three of 'em ain't bad). I've also now represented the Guild at NUS Regional Conference.
I live with a lovely bunch of people who I met in Halls. I'm still in contact with the rest of my hall people, and then there's another layer of people who they all know who we party with. Then there's the massive hordes of people I know through Guildy stuff, meaning that I recognise a lot of people around Campus.
Before Uni, I hailed from the Wirral, which I once heard called 'The Beverly Hills of Liverpool'. That is not an accurate description of it. I don't get back as much as I might hope nowadays
